The NVQ LEVEL 3 VCTC diploma in hairdressing is designed for previously qualified hairdressers with an NVQ level 2 who are currently working within the hairdressing industry or returning to. It is a technical level qualification that provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work as an employed or self employed hairdresser. You will be able to work on clients combining a variety of different technical skills. This qualification is ideal for those who hold a hairdressing or barbering qualification, it builds on existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and develops more detailed and enhanced technical skills. Excellent facilities at BLOW ACADEMY are offered for this course.


You will learn to:

⁃ Cut hair using a combination of techniques
⁃ Creatively colour and lighten hair
⁃ Creatively style and dress hair
⁃ Hair colour correction services
⁃ Creative hair design skills

A practical on-line assessment will be completed as part of your course
